We all have some sort of burdens that we carry throughout our lives that can possibly interfere with our relationship with God or our relationship with others. It can be past experiences, broken relationships, bitterness, or any number of things the enemy uses to weight us down. This Sunday, August 17th, Shannon Chapman will be beginning a new series called Baggage. Join us as we explore ways to unload and deal with all the baggage life throws our way.

Each week at Ethos we depend on volunteers to make things run smoothly.  Every other month we have a meeting called The Point that is for the people at Ethos who already volunteer and those interested in volunteering.  Our next Point meeting is Wednesday, September 3rd, from 7-830pm.  To sign up please  please email ethos@thecitychurch.cc.

Collecting Food
Currently our local food bank is in a time of crisis.  With hopes of combating this crisis, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the Chattanooga Food Bank through August 31st. Some items requested include peanut butter; canned tuna, salmon, meat; grits; oatmeal; cereal; and canned fruits and vegetables.  Please bring your items and place them in the green bin in the commons area.
